Riccio creates leisure items, including horse riding and hunting
equipment, shaping the leather with traditional and wholly manual
techniques.
The different materials used such as calves manufactured with vegetable essences extracted from plants and barks respecting the old tanning
methods, or the typical Tuscan slowly-tanned reverse cowhide, the chrome-tanned French or English calves for classical
shoes, or the exotic leather allows “Il Riccio” to diversify its production creating
unique, exclusive and long lasting items.

the workmanship necessary for the creation and production,
which include the design of patterns, the selection and
cutting of skins, the assembling of the vamps, the stitching,
using linen thread or fine hemp, through to the finished
article, are all produced in this workshop.
